Each of our projects is led by an experienced project manager who is supported by skilled site supervisors, coordinators and administrative staff, using our proven methods to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget.
Our PMs are experts in the range of duties and responsibilities that complex projects demand of them. As first responders to any project challenges, they are skilled and authorized to do what’s needed to move the project forward.
Our senior project managers include:
Karen began her PM career as an owners’ project manager for the $70M Park Plaza Hotel Redevelopment project in Toronto. Previously, after achieving her CGA 3rd level, she spent 10 years in corporate finance.
Karen has effectively managed projects for high-end retail, hospitality and banking organizations throughout North America.
Following several years at the Ontario Realty Corporation and later, as residential builder, Martin joined Gillanders in 2016. Martin’s experience as the owner of his own general contracting company has given him a wealth of experience from all perspectives in the industry.
A Ryerson University graduate, Brian joined Gillanders in 2008. As a keen PM, he is focused on the continuous enhancement of our systems and methods to achieve greater client benefits. Brian speaks English, French and Portuguese. Brian’s extensive background in media and education contribute to the professional and informative documentation we provide to all of our clients.
Having joined Gillanders as a millwork estimator in 1985, Carlos progressed to purchaser and then to project manager. Our clients value his deep experience and professionalism.
Our PMs and site supervisors enjoy a partnership marked by frequent, efficient communication and genuine mutual respect.
Experienced tradespeople with in-depth knowledge, our site supervisors understand the complex relationships among the works of multiple trades and can integrate the project resources to ensure efficient and safe execution of the work. Their constant attention to detail, forward thinking and sub-trade interaction means they identify potential issues early and take proactive measures that prevent wasted time and money.
Their excellent site planning and organization result in safe, efficient and respectful worksites that are well-known and respected by the trades – which often results in preferential pricing.
